The JPPS-Bialik Library is a centre for research and reading and provides services and resources that support the curriculum of our school. The Online Catalogue (OPAC) offers students and teachers quick and easy access to a multitude of library resources and is available on the web. Students can select the best possible information by author, title or keyword from our collection of over 10,000 titles in English, French and general studies. Our librarian is available for ongoing training in research skills and plays an integral role in teaching students to use information sources critically, an essential skill for lifelong learning.

The JPPS-Bialik Library Website is a gateway to the vast resources of the internet and is designed~to assist students in creating well-researched documents and presentations.

The Librarian:

  • offers support for the school curriculum

  • promotes information literacy
  • works collaboratively with teachers to plan projects
  • promotes a love of reading
  • coordinates special author events and student book clubs

What better way to honour family and friends than with a donation to the JPPS-Bialik Library. ~We will send a beautiful donation card in your name for any special occasion: ~Holidays, Birthdays, Refuah Shlemah, In memory of, Graduation, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, etc. ~Our unique cards, designed by Erin Rothstein, a 2003 Bialik graduate, are sold individually.

For a contribution of:

$10.00 ~~~~~~~=~A personalized card is sent to the recipient.

$18.00 + ~~~~=~~An inscribed bookplate is placed in a new library book, and a personalized card is sent.
