Academic Support Program (ASP)

The Academic Support Program (ASP) is designed to provide support for students with diagnosed learning differences who are following an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Below is a breakdown of some key points:

Eligibility Criteria: Students in ASP must have a psycho-educational assessment confirming diagnosed learning differences and must be following an IEP. This ensures that the program is targeted towards students with specific learning needs.
Adapted Program: The ASP offers an adapted program that includes remedial support, differentiated materials as needed, and in-class support.
Additional Support Periods: The ASP features additional support periods and replacing Hebrew classes. This targeted support (Math, English and French) helps students better understand and apply course material.
Accommodations: Students in ASP are entitled to accommodations such as access to a reader, the use of a computer, a quiet room for exams, and extra time during tests and exam periods.
Tanach Class in English: ASP students receive Tanach (Biblical studies) instruction in English to create an opportunity for more accessible learning of Judaic Studies.
