Admissions Process

How to Apply
Selecting the appropriate school for your child is a crucial decision. We are delighted to engage in discussions regarding your requirements and the process to facilitate your child's admission to Bialik High School. While applications are welcome throughout the year, we recommend applying well in advance of the round-one deadlines to optimize your child's chances of admission.

Following receipt of your application, students and parents will be invited to participate in a family interview.
- No preparation or studying is necessary.
- The test format is multiple choice.
- Students can complete the test online from the comfort of their own homes.
- The test duration is approximately 1.5 hours, with parents required to ensure their availability for the full morning of the test date (i.e., 8 am - 12 pm).
- The CAT serves as a common admission test for three other QAIS schools: LCC, St. George’s, and ECS. Therefore, students applying to BHS or any other two schools need only complete the admission test once.
- Students eligible for accommodations will receive extra time and reading assistance.
- The CAT is administered by our third-party partner, Brisson Legris (BL). Registration and payment for the test are completed through the BL registration form, NOT through the BHS application system, Open Apply.
- Sample questions are available for students to familiarize themselves with the test.
- The test fee, regardless of the number of schools receiving the results, is $74.75 and is payable directly to Brisson Legris through the online test registration.
- Completing the CAT requires access to a computer and a stable internet connection.
