Bialik has been my home since I graduated in 2002.

I became a teacher with the goal and hopes of one day spending my career at my alma mater. When I did my Bachelor of Education at McGill, I was able to make my dream a reality by doing my stage at Bialik. I was hired as soon as I graduated and knew immediately that I had come home. My children are part of the JPPS-Bialik family and I am so proud to have spent the last fourteen years and counting at my home away from home.

One constant I’ve noticed over my years of teaching is that many alumni return to Bialik in all different capacities.

They come back as teachers, administrators, resource specialists, participants in special programs, guest speakers and parents. There is a simple reason for their return and it can be summed up in three words: “Bialik is home.” Bialik is not just a school, it’s a community. It’s a place where long lasting relationships are formed and memories are cherished. I am grateful everyday to be a teacher at Bialik. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.

At Bialik, I feel respected, valued and simply happy to be here.

It's a place where I've been able to blossom and do work that has become my passion. I've had the privilege of giving free rein to my imagination and carte blanche to build the JPPS French program. My journey certainly includes the whole JPPS-Bialik system. Everything I've invested in the years I've spent at JPPS-Bialik has been paid back by the friendship, respect and affection I share with members of the administration, my colleagues and my dear students.
