How to Apply

Prospective families applying for admission to JPPS should follow the steps below to learn more about the school and see firsthand how our teachers and students interact inside and outside the classroom setting.

Deadline to Apply:

Kindergarten: Thursday, November 21, 2024 (for the 2026-2027 academic year). The official registration process for Kindergarten begins 2 years before the child’s entry into school. Grades 1-6: On a rolling basis.
 
For parent(s) and child, as follows:

Kindergarten: Interviews are scheduled in December 2024.

Grades 1-6: Once an application is submitted, the Admissions Office will contact families to schedule an interview.
Grades 1-6: Following the Family Interview, applicants are required to attend JPPS as a Student-For-A-Day.
The Admissions Committee will meet to review the application following the completion of Admissions Steps 1 through 4. Please be aware that the process is selective, and all applicants are considered in accordance with our school’s mission, core values, and academic standards. All applications received prior to the application deadline will be given equal consideration, regardless of the time of their receipt.

Families will be notified of the Admissions Committee’s recommendations as follows:

Kindergarten: Applicants are notified beginning January 2025.

Grades 1-6: Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis. Families will be notified of the Admissions Committee’s decision within ten school days following the completion of the admissions procedure.

Calendar

Following receipt of your application, students and parents will be invited to participate in a family interview. Kindergarten students are invited to be interviewed in December 2024.
While there is no formal admissions test, applicants transferring from other schools undergo a diagnostic assessment to evaluate their reading fluency and reading comprehension in both French and English as well as math skills assessment.

 

Tuition Fees

Tuition for the 2024-2025 is as follows:

Kindergarten: $12,570

Grades 1-6: $13,200

Additional fees apply, including books and supplies, uniforms, transportation, extracurricular activities, trips, and cafeteria meals.

All JPPS families come to know and love Carole. She joined the JPPS-Bialik family in 2018 and it is her sincere pleasure to welcome prospective families at the school. As the mother of 2 Bialik graduates and 2 Bialik students, she has a wealth of information about the school’s unique IB programme, pluralistic culture, and exceptional Judaic Studies program.
