Student Services
Student Support Services
At JPPS, we understand that students learn in diverse ways. We believe that every student should have the opportunity to succeed in school, according to their own trajectory. We provide a range of resources to help facilitate the learning that takes place in the classroom and aim to support varying learning needs. Our goal is to provide accessibility to the curriculum and enable children to grow as students and members of our community.
The objective of the Student Services Department at JPPS is to enhance the quality of our students' learning experience; their academic success as well as their emotional well-being.

Response to Intervention (RTI)
Our Response to Intervention (RTI) model is a framework that allows us to provide resources, strategies, intervention and enrichment to help students increase academic achievement in their literacy development. The RTI process begins with high-quality instruction and universal screening of all our students, followed by targeted interventions where needed. We then collaborate with our teachers to support differentiated instruction in the classroom.
